ABOUT ME
Parvi Ark
Hello my name is Parvi, and I am a dedicated Children's Coach. I have two wonderful daughters, and I live and work in Northampton, and across the UK and globe.
Throughout my 17-year career as a childcare practitioner, there has been one single most-common theme that I have continually worked on and been most passionate about, which is to improve the wellbeing and personal environment for children and young people, in order for them to thrive and live their best life.
MY APPROACH
Through extensive experience of working with children and families from diverse backgrounds in a wide range of circumstances, I have seen firsthand how the smallest of life experiences can have such a negative impact on children’s emotional health and overall wellbeing. Also, these experiences can result in a host of different emotions and feelings which can leave you feeling scared and vulnerable, especially if you don’t know what they are or what they mean.
Often when children and young people experience this ,they tend to develop behaviors that they wouldn’t normally have displayed, which can escalate if left unaddressed or ignored. This is why it is important that children are taught about their emotions and how to respond to them, through adopting a positive mindset.

Looking at the world through the child’s eyes, and having honest and open discussions with children is key to what I do. It is absolutely normal for children and young people to feel worried or anxious through their journey in life, especially in the current environment, where the pandemic has bought a lot of uncertainty, as well as sudden changes in our routines, social interactions and day to day living experiences.
Understandably, for some children and young people that already experience anxiety or emotional difficulties, further changes could leave them feeling even more anxious and worried, with the risk of triggering off new behaviours such as feeling low in mood, angry and upset.
I firmly believe that by educating children and young people from an early age about their feelings and emotions, and by equipping them with tried and tested tools and strategies to better manage them, will help them enormously through their journey in life.
